Welcome to the adrenaline-pumping world of Iowa’s premier indoor axe, big axe, hatchet, and knives-throwing leagues! Unleash your inner Viking as we invite you to join the thrill of throwing with our dynamic, 8-week seasonal, solo, or dual (team) all-ages leagues.
From a professional to a first-time thrower, our league caters to all skill levels—making Ironside Axe Club’s Leagues the ultimate experience for throwing enthusiasts of every age. With Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Saturday leagues, there is a day and time that works for any schedule.

Looking to make friends or learn a new skill?
Join us for one of our 8-week leagues! Throwing in our leagues builds camaraderie and offers a unique way to connect with others. At Ironside, adults will find a thrilling outlet for competition and collaboration, where every throw is a chance to challenge themselves and cheer on their teammates.
Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a first-time thrower, our leagues offer a welcoming environment where you can unleash your inner Viking (or lumberjack!), build lasting friendships, and experience the satisfaction of hitting your target. And our youth leagues build interpersonal skills and help kids work toward a goal.

League Benefits & Details
- $140 8-Weeks of Throwing
- $100 per team for dual league
- Weeks 1-7 are Bracket Play
- Week 8 Consists of Playoffs and Championship
- 50% Discount on Walk in Throwing
- 20% Discount on Ironside Merchandise and most axes*
- multiple league Discount: Join each season and save money! Your First league registration is $140 and you only pay $50 for each additional league
- Students & Youth Discount: Students and minors under age 18 get discounted league rates
Rules & Regulations
- Duals: Axe Throwing is a sport that you can play with your friends.
- For duals please Include your team name and the name of your partner at sign up.
- If you do not have a partner we can try to find you a partner.
- Duals must provide their own axes.
- Minors must have a legal guardian sign the waiver.
- Youth under age 16 must have a parent or guardian present.
- Having your own axe is not required for our Main Axe Leagues and big axe, but it is suggested.
